The 3D HoofCare Hoof Camera Holder is a cradle that positions a smartphone to capture consistent, repeatable photographs of the hoof, either vertically or horizontally. Standardised images are the foundation of useful hoof documentation, and the holder takes the guesswork out of lining up the shot the same way at every visit. It is designed to work with HoofmApp, a tool for quick, easy and cost-effective assessment of the hoof, shod or barefoot. The app reports hoof proportions rather than exact measurements, making it a practical way to document hoof morphology and build up files for each client over time. HoofmApp is currently available on Android with a free three-day trial.
