ACR 110 Suspensory Shoe

The ACR 110 Suspensory Shoe is a flat, 10mm-thick sport shoe from the French ACR range, covered at the clip with straight, concave branches running back to the heel. Its broad toe gives full cover at the front of the foot while the concave branches allow the heels to penetrate soft going, shifting load away from the suspensory apparatus and calling more on the deep flexor structures of the limb. Because its action relies on heel penetration into the surface, the 110 is at its most effective on loose or soft ground and is often selected, in consultation with the vet, for horses managing certain tendon and suspensory conditions. It can also be applied as a reverse shoe, where the difference in support surface between the front and rear of the shoe produces an immediate effect on soft footing. Suited to show jumping, eventing, dressage and endurance, and designed to be nailed with E-Slim nails.
