Beanie Tools Cross Pein Hammer

Beanie Tools Cross Pein Hammer

The Beanie Tools Cross Pein Hammer is designed to complement the Beanie Forging Hammer, featuring a tapered pein face that can form any size source hole, leaving a crisp, clean V-shaped result in the shoe. The longer flat face makes setting and drawing clips straightforward, with the hammer geometry designed so the head drops naturally into the correct position for clipping work. The cross pein design is well suited to the range of forming and rounding tasks that farriers carry out at the anvil on a daily basis. Like all Beanie Tools, the Cross Pein Hammer is made in the UK to Steven Beane's own high standard of finish and hand-assembled with attention to the balance and weight distribution characteristics that make his tools noticeably different from mass-produced alternatives.

The Steven Beane Cross Pein hammer is designed to complement the Forging Hammer. It features a tapered end allowing the user to form any size source hole, leaving a crisp V shape source hole. The hammer drops beautifully and clipping is easy with the longer flat face. This cross pein hammer weighs just over 2 lbs and is supplied with 17" hickory shaft. Hand finished by Beanie himself, this hammer is proudly British made by a specialist hammer maker.
