The Bergers VFT Front Heart Bar is a steel heart bar shoe for front feet, used to provide frog support in laminitis, caudal hoof pain and similar therapeutic shoeing. Made in Denmark by Bergers Smedie, the VFT (Viking Farrier Tools) Denmark range was designed by Henrik Kjaer Burgaard Berger FWCF. The shoes are forged from a high wear-resistance steel alloy that can be shaped both hot and cold, with thickness and width increasing in proportion to shoe size and every size balanced around the centre of the shoe. Multiple nail holes allow easy, precise nail placement.
