The Blacksmith H-Competition gas forge is the competition-focused evolution of the maker's model H, developed specifically for forging competitions where speed to heat and quiet running matter. Its two burners can be regulated independently, letting you reach the desired heat quickly and hold it precisely, while the latest refractory maintains temperature at minimum gas pressure. The door omits the front window to cut noise during competition, and the two side windows are larger than the standard model H to make bar stock entry easier - one of them is reclosable with the dedicated accessory included. A bar stock support piece is also supplied. The body uses OPR (One Piece Refractory) construction: the whole chamber is formed from a single refractory block, avoiding heat loss at the edges for a more solid, better performing and more durable unit that is also simpler to replace at the end of its life. With a maximum temperature of 1600 degrees C and gas consumption of 1.85kg/h, the H-Competition packs serious forging performance into a 37.5kg unit.
