The Blacksmith foot stand is a lightweight yet sturdy hoof stand with a round plastic base, supplied with both a cradle and a rubber-topped post. The two heads are easily interchangeable and height adjustable, covering everything from rasping under the foot on the post to supporting the limb in the cradle for finishing work. Two strong magnets are built in to hold rasps and knives within easy reach, cutting out repeated bending to the floor for tools. By supporting the foot at a comfortable working height, the stand takes unnecessary strain off the farrier's back and knees - a genuine labour saver, especially with bigger horses. Finished in royal blue.
