The Duo Ellipse elliptical shoe is designed to provide elevation and manipulation of the point-of-force trajectory parallel to the thoracolumbar axis, aiding recovery from proximal limb injuries and pathologies. Designed by Alan Bailey and thoroughly tested by endurance farrier Kelvin Lymer, the design has proven highly effective in practice. The shoes are made for The Shoeing Lab by the Italian firm Colleoni from high quality LM20 aircraft-grade aluminium, hardened to T6. Available in sizes 0 to 4.
