Colleoni Full Rolling Shoe

The Colleoni Full Rolling Shoe is a bevelled leverage-reduction shoe designed for horses with injuries to the flexor tendons, the deep digital flexor tendon or the suspensory apparatus. The shoe combines good dorsal and collateral rolling with a reduction of heel support. The dorsal roll reduces stress on the DDFT during the propulsion phase of the stride, while the reduced heel support helps avoid hyper-extension of the fetlock during mid-stance. Collateral rolling reduces asymmetrical stress on the flexor tendons and suspensory apparatus, allowing the foot to break over in the direction of least resistance. Sold in pairs.
