Colleoni Roller Spider Straight Bar

The Colleoni Roller Spider Straight Bar combines a roller-motion ground surface with a spider plate on a straight bar pattern. The rolled surface reduces torque and shear force during roll-over, restricting supination of the limb, while the spider plate transfers central compressive weight-bearing force onto the rim of the shoe and increases tensile force around the hoof. It can be used to apply frog support to help re-establish normal physiology at the back of the foot. The Shoeing Lab recommends Glue-U pour-in 20 or 30 shore hoof packing silicones beneath the plate.
