The Colleoni Wide Toe Front is an asymmetric therapeutic shoe designed by Jean-Marie Denoix DVM, PhD. One branch is made wide to provide support beneath suspensory ligament branch injuries, while the opposite branch is kept narrow to reduce the lever arm on the unaffected side. Indications include suspensory ligament injuries, straight and oblique sesamoidean ligament injuries, superficial digital flexor tendon injuries and proximal check desmopathies. The shoes are supplied in A and B configurations depending on which branch requires the support, viewed from the ground surface of the shoe. Sold in pairs.
