These 1/4" self-tapping screws are used with the Aluminium Equine Crack Patch, securing the patch in place and preventing it moving while the hoof crack grows out and heals. Supplied in packs of 25. Once the pilot hole is established, it is advisable to cut the point off the screw with cutters before final fitting - this ensures the screw cannot penetrate too far into the hoof wall.
