Dallmer Cuff

The Dallmer Cuff allows a steel or aluminium horseshoe to be fitted to the hoof without nailing, while providing a protective shield around the hoof wall and sole to prevent further damage. It is glued to the hoof - Vettec SuperFast 210 cc is recommended, holding the cuff within 30 seconds and fully hardening in 2-3 minutes - making application to damaged or sensitive feet quick, easy and extremely durable. Once the cuff is attached, any shoe or prosthetic can be fixed to it, and the fitted shoe defines the shape of the cuff. Shoes can be renewed at any time during the shoeing period without removing the cuff, allowing slow-growing hoof walls to recover their full strength. This makes the Dallmer Cuff a valuable tool for rehabilitating compromised feet. Seven sizes are available, measured by width at the widest point: C1 (90 mm), C3 (102 mm), C5 (108 mm), C7 (127 mm), C8 (133 mm), C9 (140 mm) and C11 (152-178 mm).
