Deplano Regular Flat Synthetic Large Frog Support Pads

A regular-grade flat synthetic pad with a large moulded frog support, from Italian pad maker DePlano. The synthetic material is made to mimic the high-quality leather versions in DePlano's range, so it handles and wears like their leather pads while offering the consistency of a moulded product. The generously sized frog support can be cut down with a hoof knife to exactly the coverage each foot needs, making one pad adaptable across a wide range of cases. Being flat, it brings the frog into weight bearing and protects the sole without altering hoof angles. Impression material or a hoof packing such as Magic Cushion is the ideal fill beneath the pad. Supplied in one size, measuring 173 mm at the widest point of the pad, and trimmed to fit at shoeing.
