Deplano Wedge Synthetic 2° Frog Support Pads

A two-degree synthetic wedge pad with a moulded frog support plate, from Italian pad maker DePlano. The synthetic material is formulated to mimic the working characteristics of the high-quality vegetable-tanned leather DePlano use in their leather pad range, giving a familiar feel under the shoe with the consistency of a moulded pad. The built-in frog support recruits the back of the foot into weight bearing while the 2° wedge raises heel angle, making these a practical choice for cases needing a modest palmar angle change with caudal support. They work particularly well packed with impression material to load the sole and frog evenly. Comparable in application to Stromsholm wedged Supersole-type pads. Sold in pairs, in sizes 4 and 6, measuring 172 mm (6¾") at the widest point. A 3° version of the same pad is also available, along with flat synthetic and genuine leather pads across the Deplano range.
