Diamond Heart Bar Inserts (4 Pack)

Diamond Smart heart-bar inserts are pre-shaped welding inserts that let the farrier convert an ordinary horseshoe into a heart bar shoe at the forge. Rather than fabricating a frog plate from bar stock, the insert is positioned and welded into the heels of the shoe, giving consistent results and a significant saving in fire and fitting time. Each insert features special shaping notches that make it quicker and easier to adjust the frog plate to the individual foot, so the finished heart bar can be dressed to give correct frog pressure. Supplied four inserts to a pack, in four sizes graded to suit Kerckhaert shoe sizes from 4x0 up to size 4. A practical addition to the van for remedial and therapeutic work where heart bar support is called for, whether for laminitic cases or feet needing additional caudal support.
