Dedicated drill bits for preparing horseshoes to take the EDSS plastic or aluminium wedge rails. Two sizes are available: size 10 drills the back holes and size 24 drills the front holes needed to attach the rails to the shoe branches. Using the correct EDSS bit sizes ensures the rail fixings seat accurately, keeping the wedge rails securely located through the shoeing period. Used together with the EDSS Rail Tap for threading the back holes.
