The EDSS Freedom Shoe is a treatment and performance shoe designed to help improve and resolve many of the common injuries and pathologies seen across all types of horses. It supports all aspects of the foot while providing various controlled release points that reduce the leverage forces acting on damaged or strained internal structures. The Freedom Shoe is used for collateral ligament lesions, coffin joint lesions and pain, impar ligament and DDFT pain, ringbone, navicular syndrome and general performance issues - bringing a higher level of comfort to horses suffering chronic laminitis and distal limb arthritis. Made from durable, lightweight aluminium with specifically located steel wear pins, the shoe has a bevelled heel for a softer landing and smooth stride unrollment, and is seated out on the foot side for ample sole clearance while giving full protection to the coffin bone and caudal hoof structures. Freedom Shoes fit most feet without alteration; a small-headed nail is recommended to preserve the leverage-reduction design. Sizes 000 to 5 (4 1/4" to 6" width).

Aluminium treatment and performance shoe with controlled release points for leverage reduction - used for navicular, ringbone, DDFT and collateral ligament issues. Sizes 000-5.
