EDSS Therapeutic Horse Hoof Pads

The EDSS Therapeutic Horse Hoof Pad is the central component of the Equine Digit Support System, used in conjunction with the EDSS shoe. A stainless steel insert embedded in the toe region gives a firm, seated-out attachment to the shoe, while the keyed base on the ground surface accepts the moulded EDSS frog support inserts. This arrangement lets the farrier apply and adjust frog pressure and caudal support in a controlled, repeatable way - and because the pad bolts to the shoe, adjustments can be made without pulling the shoe. Available in small, medium and large to match the EDSS frog inserts.
