Equisoft Support System Laminitis First Aid Kit

The Equisoft Support System is a laminitis first aid kit designed as an instant emergency treatment that vets, farriers and horse owners can keep on hand. It can be used to stabilise laminitis or to provide basic protection for sore, bruised or damaged feet, and is ideally suited to smaller ponies and horses on box rest with a maximum foot width of 12cm. The combination of impression material and Equisoft foam pads creates superior sole and frog support with a high level of comfort, giving the hoof capsule time to recover and heal. The kit offers hoof and frog support, sole protection, instant comfort and pain relief while the foot recovers. Each kit contains two Equisoft pads with self-adhesive backing, 200g of impression material and one roll of black cloth tape. Best results are seen when the patient has access to a small area of dry, flat, firm ground, allowing voluntary restricted movement.
