EZ Blox are strap-on positioning blocks that make lateral and dorso-palmar radiographs of the foot far quicker and less frustrating to obtain. Because each block straps securely to the foot rather than relying on the horse standing still on a loose block, there is no resetting the shot every time the patient steps off - and with a pair fitted, both front or both hind feet can be imaged in quick succession by simply swinging the machine round or turning the horse. The blocks attach with durable rubber composite straps, with strap clips that lock the toe in place and four strap pegs with multiple slots to suit a wide variety of foot sizes and shapes. Stainless steel markers embedded in the plate provide calibration and measurement references on the image, and both the base plate and lower block are rigid and durable. Standard block height is 2".
