The FIFPE B Model is a hot-forged shoe reflecting the tradition of Italian military farriery - a historical pattern created by FIFPE's founder, used mainly for riding and competition horses. The shoe has a rounded, asymmetric shape to better fit right and left feet, with the outer branch longer and more rounded than the inner. It carries a robust toe clip with the classic inverted-V profile and is fullered three-quarters of the way round, with nail holes punched heel-to-heel for JC or VF pattern nails; the outer branch holes are punched coarser than the inner. The upper surface is seated out to limit sole pressure, the lower inner edge is chamfered to increase grip, and thickness is increased for longer wear, with the heels approximately 2mm thicker for added comfort. A marked seat on the heels locates drilling for stud fitting. Available in front and hind patterns, sizes 3 to 9.
Hot-forged Italian military-tradition shoe with asymmetric shape, three-quarter fullering and JC/VF nailing. Fronts and hinds, sizes 3 to 9.
