The FIFPE Euro Model is a hot-forged shoe with a classic European shape for riding and competition horses. It keeps an asymmetric outline to follow the natural conformation of the hoof in both front and hind patterns, and features sloping walls compared with traditional bar-made shoes, which assists the foot in leaving the ground. The heel is raised by one millimetre, and an accentuated internal seating of the upper surface avoids pressure on the sole. Thickness runs from 8mm to 10mm, with the web width proportional to the size of the shoe. The crease is a European V-style fullering with nail holes punched for ESL-LX / MX-JC pattern nails, turned inwards to follow the white line, and the heels carry a marked seat for drilling and fitting studs. Available in sizes 00 to 4 as side-clipped fronts, toe-clipped fronts and hinds.
