The FIFPE Hind RM Model is a lightened hot-forged hind shoe with a symmetrical shape designed to adapt to any type of foot, used mainly on riding and competition horses. The pattern has a slightly squared toe to set back the point of break-over, and two sturdy side clips with the classic inverted-V profile positioned between the second and third nail holes. It is fullered three-quarters of the way round with four nail holes per branch, punched finer than earlier models for ESLIM-LX-JC pattern nails. The lower corners are rounded so the shoe is less likely to be pulled if the hind feet reach the fronts, and to reduce the risk of injury from the shoe itself. The toe is slightly wider than the heels, and the upper surface is seated out to limit sole pressure. Available in sizes 3 to 8.
