FootPro DIM is a non-toxic, non-allergenic, dental-grade silicone impression material, hand mixed to a mouldable consistency and applied to the solar surface under a pad. It is offered in two durometers: DIM 20 provides a soft cushion, while DIM 40 gives firmer, more supportive material. DIM 20 suits thin soles, sensitive frogs and any situation where the horse needs something very soft to stand on - cushion allows movement but slows the rate at which the limit of that movement is reached. Where support is the priority, DIM 40 is the choice, most commonly packed into the heel area to support the bony column by limiting movement. Between the two grades, most cushion-versus-support requirements under pads can be met. Supplied as a two-part kit of 2 x 900 g.
