GluShu Prefix Set (Glue & Activator)

The GluShu Prefix Set is a two-part pre-fixing glue and activator system that gives an extremely fast initial bond between a GluShu shoe and the hoof — the shoe only needs holding in place for around 30 seconds before the foot can go back on the ground. It is designed for horses that cannot hold a foot up for the usual five-minute cure — sore laminitic cases, for example — and for cold conditions where extended holding is impractical. A bead of the CA Flex glue is run around the base of the hoof, the inside of the shoe is sprayed with the activator, and the shoe is slid on and aligned. Once the fast bond has taken, the cuffs are backfilled with warm Shufit or acrylic adhesive and wrapped while curing. The set contains 100ml of pre-fixing glue plus activator spray — enough to fit approximately four to six pairs of GluShus.
