The traditional American-pattern farrier's wire brush, fitted with metal blades rather than wire bristles. The blade construction makes it far more aggressive than a standard scratch brush, which is exactly what is needed for removing forge scale from shoes during shoemaking and modification. An ergonomic handle makes the brush comfortable to hold in use. Note this brush is for cleaning shoes and steel - it is not recommended for use on horses' hooves.
