Hoof Shield Pads

Hoof Shield pads are fitted between the shoe and the foot to protect the solar surface, giving cover to thin-soled, flat-footed or sensitive feet that struggle on hard or stony going. Fitted at shoeing in the normal way, they shield the sole and frog region for the full shoeing cycle. Available in Standard and Large sizes to suit a range of foot sizes and shoe patterns. Trim to the outline of the shoe before nailing on.
