The HoofSolutions Poultice Pack is an emergency hoof protection kit containing one each of the brand's Orthopedic Poultice Pad, Hoof Cap and Pastern Wrap, allowing a horse to be poulticed in three straightforward steps. At the first sign of a hoof issue the foot can be wrapped up until a hoofcare professional is on the scene, which is why the packs are popular with veterinarians and farriers as well as trainers and owners. The medicated poultice pad protects the sole with three layers of cushion and carries an osmotic gel that helps draw out soreness, relieve pain and facilitate healing. The pad may be left on the horse for two to four days, while the durable Hoof Cap and protective Pastern Wrap can be washed and reused multiple times. A cohesive bandage, wrapping tape or duct tape is all that is needed to secure the pack. Supplied non-sterile.
