Designed for high-level performance in hitting, hooking, and wringing off nails, they are available in 10-ounce and 12-ounce weights to suit different farriers' preferences and nailing styles. The balance achieved through the hot drop-forging process gives ICAR hammers a distinctive feel in use, with the head weight and centre of mass engineered for confident, accurate nail driving. Widely used by professional farriers across the UK and Europe, ICAR driving hammers are trusted by farriers who demand quality and consistency from the tool they use most in their working day. A professional-grade driving hammer with an excellent reputation in the farriery trade.
ICAR driving hammers are one of the last products manufactured by ICAR, they come from hot drop forging process and so they feature great resistance and balancing. They have been designed for granting high level performances in hitting, hooking and twisting nails. Available in 10 oz (285 gr.) and 12 oz (340 gr.) versions, both of them have a hickory wood handle for granting great control with the best comfort possible. On the bottom of the handle a strong magnet is settled up for helping in catching far nails.
