The JH Forge Deep Belly Hoof Knife with Pick is one of JH Forge's most popular knife styles, combining a curved blade with a 2.5" cutting length and a built-in hoof pick at the end of the handle. The deep-bellied curve makes it a natural choice for exfoliating sole and working the frog, while the pick lets the foot be cleaned out without swapping tools. All JH Forge knives are handmade from hardened tool steel and hand sharpened, so each knife is individual. Maker Jim has been a farrier for over 30 years, and his knives have become popular with farriers, hoof trimmers and veterinarians. This model is available in left- or right-handed versions with a choice of long or short ergonomic handle.
