The Jim Blurton Aluminium Collateral Shoe is an asymmetric remedial shoe in which the wide branch limits penetration into soft ground while the narrow branch allows it, influencing medio-lateral balance and unloading the targeted side of the limb. It is made from aerospace grade aluminium alloy for maximum endurance, with a hardened steel insert embedded in the toe to increase wear resistance. The shoe carries three clips and is available in six sizes from 2x0 to 4, all in 10mm section, with widths running from 5" to 6 1/4" and lengths from 5 1/8" to 6 1/2".
