The Jim Blurton Aluminium Heart Bar Shoe is made from aerospace grade aluminium alloy and is designed to mimic the unshod foot, restoring the frog and hoof wall to a natural pattern of weight bearing. The frog plate recruits the frog into load sharing - the principle behind heart bar shoeing in laminitis and other remedial cases - while the wide chamfer on the toe eases breakover. The shoe carries two quarter clips and is built for maximum endurance, comfort and protection. Available in six sizes from 2x0 to 4 in 10mm section, with widths from 128.5mm to 162mm and lengths from 127mm to 160mm. Part of the Jim Blurton aluminium remedial horseshoe range.
