The Jim Blurton Aluminium Onion Heel Shoe provides wide coverage in the heel area to spread pressure across the posterior of the foot, reducing the tendency of the heels to sink in soft going. The broadened onion heels make it a popular choice for horses with under-run or collapsed heels and for caudal foot pain cases needing extra posterior support. Made from aerospace grade aluminium alloy for maximum endurance, with three clips and a hardened steel insert embedded in the toe to increase wear resistance.
