The drop blade geometry is widely favoured for everyday trimming work, combining versatility for sole and frog paring with the control needed for detailed preparation work. Made from high-carbon steel, the blade holds a good working edge and can be resharpened with a standard farriery sharpening steel. Available in right-handed configuration.
