The Jim Blurton E-Head Stamp is forged from a single piece of S7 tool steel, an air-hardening steel that is shock and impact resistant and easily maintained. Manufacturing from one piece eliminates potential points of weakness in the tool. The stamp is designed to fit E-head nails and is particularly well suited to working on concave steel: the narrower head stamps the nail hole cleanly without marking the side of the section. Part of the Jim Blurton forging tool range designed by the 2005 World Champion Farrier.
