Hollow bit tongs from the tool range of 2005 World Champion Farrier Jim Blurton. The hollow bit is sized to grip a specific diameter of hot metal, so the stock is held positively without twisting or slipping while it is worked at the fire and anvil. Each pair is made for a particular bar diameter and should be matched to the section being worked. We stock them in 5/16", 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2" sizes.
