The Jim Blurton stud punch is a handheld punch for putting stud holes into shoes, made from S1 air-hardening tool steel that holds its shape in hot work and is easily maintained. It is made in 3/8" (10mm) and 5/16" (8mm) sizes to suit the two common stud thread sizes; we stock the 3/8" punch. The punch is a minimum of 300mm long, keeping hands well clear of the hot shoe, and the ergonomically designed handle is formed from 27 x 19mm oval section for a comfortable, secure grip.
