Unlike racket-style grips, this wrap adheres to itself as it is applied, so it will not slip or creep down the shaft in use and is extremely long lasting. The improved purchase on the shaft translates directly into more accurate, more powerful hammer blows — a small upgrade that makes a real difference over a full day at the anvil.
