Keratex Hoof Gel

Keratex Hoof Gel is a wet weather hoof dressing that forms a protective, waterproof yet breathable layer over the hoof, keeping feet water-tight in wet, muddy conditions. By stopping water saturating the internal structures of the hoof, it prevents hooves from softening, splitting or breaking up, and gives the foot the conditions it needs to restore its own quality and strength. It suits horses whose feet deteriorate, soften or throw shoes in wet or humid conditions, horses prone to punctures and cavities in the foot and sole, and stabled horses or those that suffer sore heels in wet weather. Apply all over the hoof, frog, soles and heels every other day; once absorbed, water simply beads and rolls off the horn like rain off a waxed jacket. Supplied in a 1 litre bottle.
