Kerckhaert Alu Triumph Eggbar

The Kerckhaert Alu Triumph Eggbar is an orthopaedic aluminium horseshoe that carries all the features of the Alu Triumph but adds the distinctive eggbar shape for extra support at the heel. The larger bearing surface distributes pressure and takes load off the heels, making it a practical choice for horses experiencing pain in the back half of the hoof or recovering from injury to the heels or quarters. The shoe has the well-known Triumph fit with a crease extending into the toe for built-in grip, precisely placed nail holes with correct nail angles, rolling on the toe for movement comfort, and incorporated sole relief. Radius quarter clips sit between the second and third nail holes, which allows the shoe to be set slightly forward where needed to optimise balance and breakover. The clips run neatly along the hoof wall and carry enough material at the base to be re-forged without loss of quality. Supplied as a front pattern in sizes 3x0 to 3 across 20x8, 22x8 and 23x10 sections, punched for Race 5 and 5 Slim (SB) nails. Kerckhaert products are supplied to the UK trade via Stromsholm.
