Kerckhaert Kings Super Sound Round Heel

The Kerckhaert Kings Super Sound Round Heel has been developed to give the farrier a safer option for improving grip on a variety of surfaces. A round heel insert helps maintain hoof balance when the horse is standing on hard ground, while improving stability at the gallop. The heel insert maintains medio-lateral balance of the hoof and at the same time helps counterbalance the effect of the toe grab. Because the carefully designed round insert has no sharp edges, the risk of injury through interference, including brushing, is eliminated. The high-quality aluminium used by Kerckhaert reduces the risk of the plate spreading over the shoeing cycle. Supplied as a hind pattern with a single clip, sold by the pair or by the box.
