Kerckhaert Steel Kings Plate - ES

The Kerckhaert Steel Kings Plate ES is a drop-forged steel racing plate offering the performance benefits of a race plate in a steel construction for horses that require greater shoe durability than aluminium can provide. Available from size 2 through to 8, it has a great shape for thoroughbred feet that requires little reshaping, reducing time at the anvil on busy race days. Hind shoes feature distinct left and right patterns for correct foot orientation, while front shoes are symmetrical. Built-in sole relief reduces solar pressure during the race, and the radius clip provides secure shoe retention without the leverage of a traditional full clip. The nail hole pattern matches the aluminium plate design, meaning the same nail approach applies across steel and aluminium plates in the Kings range. A well-designed, practical steel plate for racing yards and farriers.
