Kerckhaert Triumph Wedge (Alu Triumph Degree)

The Kerckhaert Triumph Wedge, catalogued by Royal Kerckhaert as the Alu Triumph Degree, is a drop forged aluminium front shoe from the Triumph Collection with a built-in 2.5-degree gradient. The wedge raises the hoof angle to give horses that need it an adapted base and improved heel support, without the bulk of a pad-and-wedge combination. The shoe carries the characteristic Triumph features: a wide toe with rolling for easier breakover, a full V-crease that extends into the toe for built-in grip, precisely placed nail holes with correct nail angles, and incorporated sole relief. The high-grade aluminium is selected for good wear resistance and strength while keeping the shoe light for the modern sport horse. This unclipped front pattern is supplied in sizes 3x0 through 3 across 20x8, 22x8 and 23x10 sections. It is punched to suit Race 5 and 5 Slim (SB) nails depending on size.
