Knife Sharpening Kit

A complete bench polishing and sharpening kit for keeping hoof knives and loop knives at a working edge. Built around a 6" power unit, the kit takes a knife from re-profiling through to a polished, razor-sharp finish using a staged wheel-and-compound system. The three-step process runs from the 6" Uni wheel pre-step, through the sisal wheel with grey soap (step 1), the cloth wheel with white soap (step 2), and finishes on the calico wheel with green soap (step 3). A diamond cone and a pair of left- and right-hand half-inch spiral cones are included for working the inside curve of loop and drop blades. The kit is also available as an accessory-only option without the grinder, for farriers who already have a suitable bench motor and want the wheels, cones and compounds alone.
