The Liberty driving hammer line was developed by Kerckhaert to partner the Liberty nail range, with a head design that provides maximum striking surface in every weight class and works cleanly with every Liberty nail. The straight head design means wringing and snapping off nails goes with real ease. The handle is slightly larger than a conventional driving hammer and carries an ergonomic oval-shaped grip, giving total control on every nail driven. A magnet set into the base of the handle picks up dropped nails and saves a great deal of bending over during the shoeing day, and is standard across every size in the range. Available in four weight classes — 6oz (170g), 7oz (200g), 8oz (225g) and 9oz — so each farrier can match the hammer weight to their nailing style and the nails they drive.
