The Luwex Knife Sharpener is a simple, effective strop-style sharpening system for hoof knives. It hangs up in the back of the van by its leather section, and the abrasive sharpening paper is pulled through it - meaning it can be held tight while you draw the knife along, giving consistent pressure and edge angle. The leather part is there to finish the knife off, removing any burrs left from the sharpening process for a clean, polished edge. Replacement sharpening papers are available separately.
