MNC Avanti

The MNC Avanti is a leverage-reduction shoe designed to be fitted in a balanced fashion around the widest part of the foot, which corresponds to the centre of rotation of the coffin joint. This placement principle reduces the lever arm acting on the internal structures of the foot during each stride, potentially decreasing loading on the deep digital flexor tendon, the navicular bone, and the collateral ligaments. Available in sizes 00 through to 5, the Avanti suits a wide range of horse sizes from smaller leisure horses through to larger sport horses. The leverage-reduction philosophy makes the Avanti a thoughtful choice for sport horses, horses with a history of soft tissue issues in the lower limb, and animals where the farrier wants to take a proactive approach to reducing mechanical strain.
