The MNC Vulcan Straight Bar is a drop-forged mild steel bar shoe with a full straight bar welded across the heels, providing comprehensive heel support and frog pressure in a robust construction. Straight bar shoes distribute load from the heel onto the bar, reducing direct loading on specific heel structures, and provide frog contact to stimulate and support the digital cushion. They are used therapeutically in a range of conditions including navicular syndrome, sheared heels, and hoof imbalance where additional heel support and stability are required. The Vulcan drop-forged construction delivers consistent quality and clean nail holes, making the shoe straightforward to use in what is often complex corrective work.
