MoreTurf Degree hinds share the same farrier-friendly design and drop forged, tempered aluminium quality as the standard MoreTurf plates, with the added benefit of a 2 degree graduation from toe to heel. The built-in heel elevation enhances break-over and relieves strain on the deep digital flexor tendon, giving a mechanical advantage to thoroughbred feet that are often compromised. Like the rest of the MoreTurf range they are made as a "permaplate" for the modern racing market — wide-webbed, seated out for sole pressure relief, with seven nail holes per side following the white line and a toe clip backed by a flush mild steel wear insert. Available in sizes 3 to 7, supplied by the pair or by the box.
