MoreTurf plates are built for the modern thoroughbred racing market as a "permaplate" — a racing plate robust enough to stay on between shoeings rather than being swapped for work. Drop forged from aluminium for strength and tempered for durability, they follow the traditional EC Queens plate pattern but carry a wider web for additional support and are seated out to relieve sole pressure. Each branch carries seven nail holes, with the pattern punched to follow the white line for secure, sympathetic nailing. The toe is fitted with a proportionately sized toe clip and a mild steel insert set flush with the rim, extending wear at the toe without adding traction. Available in sizes 3 to 7, supplied by the pair or by the box.
